# Guv documentation

> Deploy apps, databases and AI-built projects on UK infrastructure, safely, with caps on what you spend.

Guv is a hosting platform for web apps, APIs, workers, cron jobs and databases. It runs in London, bills in pounds, and is designed so that people who have never configured a server, and the AI agents they work with, can ship safely.

## Start here

- **[Quickstart](/docs/quickstart/):** your first deploy in about three minutes.
- **[How Guv fits together](/docs/concepts/):** workspaces, projects, environments and services.
- **[Deploy with your AI](/docs/agents/):** connect Claude Code, Cursor or Codex through MCP, with tokens that cannot touch production without you.

## Keep it safe and affordable

- **[Safety Centre](/docs/safety-centre/):** what the A to E grade means and how to raise it.
- **[Spend and caps](/docs/spend/):** how billing works and how hard caps protect you.
- **[Custom domains](/docs/domains/):** point your own domain at Guv, with certificates handled for you.
- **[Moving to Guv](/docs/migrate/):** import from Heroku, Railway, Render, Fly or Docker Compose.

## Reference

- **[guv.yaml](/docs/manifest/):** every field of the manifest that describes your project as code.
- **[CLI](/docs/cli/):** every `guv` command and its exit codes.
- **[API](/docs/api/):** the same API the dashboard, CLI and MCP server use. There are no hidden endpoints.
- **[Error codes](/errors/):** each error, what it means and how to fix it.
