# DatabaseBranchCreate

> The DatabaseBranchCreate object in the Guv API.

## Fields

| `target_environment` | string | Environment to attach the branch to. Defaults to the source environment. |
| `point_in_time` | string (date-time) |  |
| `masking` | `default`, `none` or [MaskingRules](/docs/api/objects/masking-rules/) | `default` uses the database's masking rules. `none` is refused for special-category projects. Default `default`. |
