# Healthcheck

> The Healthcheck object in the Guv API.

## Fields

| `type` | `http`, `tcp` | Default `http`. |
| `path` | string | Default `/`. |
| `port` | integer or null | Defaults to the service port. |
| `timeout_seconds` | integer | Default `10`. |
| `interval_seconds` | integer | Default `10`. |
| `start_timeout_seconds` | integer | How long a new deployment has to become healthy (up to 15 minutes). Default `300`. |
