Pricing

Simple prices in pounds, with a cap you control.

Every plan includes its own price in usage. Go beyond it and you pay per second for what you actually use, never more than the cap you set.

Estimate

What would my app cost?

Pick a starting point, then adjust. The estimate assumes steady average use across the month.

Questions

Pricing, plainly.

Still unsure? Ask the AI support in the dashboard, or email support@guv.dev.

Why is there no free tier?

Free tiers attract abuse: crypto-mining, phishing and spam on stolen cards. That makes a platform less safe and less reliable for everyone else. Instead, the trial gives you £5 of real credit for 30 days, and Hobby costs £5 a month including £5 of usage, which covers a typical small app entirely.

What happens when I reach my spend cap?

By default, Guv puts your staging and preview environments to sleep and keeps production serving. You get warnings at 50% and 80% first, by email, in the dashboard and by webhook. You can choose to pause everything instead, or only be notified. Guv never raises a cap for you, and agents can never raise one at all.

What does “per second on actual use” mean?

If your app uses a fifth of a vCPU on average, you pay for a fifth of a vCPU, not for the size of the box you picked. Memory is measured on your app's working set every 10 seconds. Limits you set are caps, not reservations you pay for.

Do you charge for builds?

No. Builds are free, with fair-use limits on how many run at once: 3 on Hobby and 10 on Pro.

Are prices shown with VAT?

Use the switch at the top of the page. Businesses usually see prices without VAT, because they reclaim it. If you are buying as an individual, the price including VAT is what you pay. Invoices are VAT-correct either way.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes, online, in as few steps as it took to sign up. You pay for usage up to the moment you cancel, and you can export everything first.

Is outbound data really that cheap?

Every paid plan includes 100 GB of outbound data a month, then it is £0.02 per GB. Our London data centre does not meter bandwidth the way the big clouds do, so we pass that on.
